Important information

It is important to note that these test strips should not be used if you have blood galactose concentrations >15 mg/dL (>0.83 mmol/L), lipid levels (triglycerides) >1800 mg/dL (>20.3 mmol/L) or if you have administered ascorbic acid by intravenous.

In addition, it is not recommended to collect capillary blood from approved sites in cases of abnormal peripheral circulation.

Tips for use

1. Wash your hands with warm, soapy water.
2. Prepare the lancing device.
3. Check the expiration date on the test strip tube.
4. Insert the test strip into the reader following the direction of the arrows.
5. Take a drop of blood using the lancing device.

Interpretation of blood sugar results

The normal glycemic value for a non-diabetic fasting adult is less than 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L). In adults, a fasting blood sugar value equal to or greater than 126 mg/dL (7.0 mmol/L) and confirmed by two measurements is a criterion for detecting diabetes.
