Instructions

Allevyn Gentle Border Heel Dressing is indicated for the management of acute and chronic, exudative and budding, superficial to deep wounds of the heel, including pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, infected wounds, malignant wounds, surgical wounds, first and second degree burns, graft donor sites, dermabrasions and fungus ulcers.

Instructions for use

1. Clean the wound according to usual procedures
2. Choose an appropriate dressing size
3. Prepare and clean the surrounding skin
4. Remove the central protective film and position the foot at a right angle
5. Remove the upper and lower sheets and close the upper part

Frequency of dressing renewal and removal

Dressings should be inspected frequently and can be left in place for up to 7 days. To remove the dressing, lift one corner and gently pull until completely removed.

Precautions for use

Do not use Allevyn Gentle Border Heel dressings in conjunction with oxidizing agents. Do not use if redness or sensitization appears.
