Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is an extra-thin hydrocellular adhesive dressing with silicone gel, designed for fragile skin. It is ideal for patients with fragile skin and lightly to moderately exuding wounds.

Instructions

This dressing is indicated for acute and chronic wounds, such as skin tears, surgical wounds, burns, pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, infected wounds and malignant wounds.

Instructions for use

1. Choose an appropriately sized dressing
2. Prepare and clean the surrounding skin
3. Remove the protective film and attach the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin
4. Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the rest of the protective film

Frequency of change

Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the volume of exudate and local protocols in force.

Precautions for use

Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is a single-use product. Do not use Allevyn Gentle Border Lite Dressings in conjunction with oxidizing agents.
