This medicine contains aspirin, which belongs to the family of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is used to relieve pain, reduce fever and reduce inflammation.

Instructions

• Pain and/or fever such as headache, flu-like illness, dental pain, body aches
• Treatment of certain rheumatic diseases in adults

Contraindications

• Allergy to aspirin or any of the other ingredients
• History of stomach or duodenal ulcer
• Bleeding or risk of bleeding
• Serious liver, kidney or heart disease
• Pregnancy from the sixth month

Tips for use

Maximum recommended daily dosage: 3 g of acetylsalicylic acid, or 3 sachets per day.

The usual dosage is 1 sachet of 1000 mg, to be renewed if necessary after at least 4 hours, without exceeding 3 sachets per day.

Precautions for use

• Consult a doctor before taking this medication in case of rheumatic diseases, G6PD deficiency, history of stomach or duodenal ulcer
• Avoid alcohol consumption during treatment
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines

Adverse effects

• Ulceration of the esophagus, stomach, and intestine
• Digestive bleeding
• Decreased number of platelets in the blood
• Destruction of red blood cells
