The GenuTrain knee brace is an active orthosis designed to relieve and stabilize the knee. It is equipped with an elastic, breathable three-dimensional knit that allows moisture to escape for excellent comfort.
It has a viscoelastic insert, the Omega pad, which surrounds the patella and exerts pressure on Hoffa’s fat pads, thus reducing pressure and pain in the retropatellar area. The side fins of the Omega pad help reduce pain through intermittent compression.
This orthosis is perfect for people suffering from inflammatory conditions, joint instability or recurrent joint effusions. It can also be used post-traumatically and post-operatively.
