The ViscoSpot heel cup from Bauerfeind is designed to treat heel spurs and relieve heel pain. This viscoelastic heel pad offers soft padding, absorbs shock and protects the joints.

Materials of different densities are placed vertically in the ViscoSpot, allowing pressure to be distributed evenly. Three discharge zones are connected together without demarcation, absorbing pressure from the painful center of the heel spur.

The viscoelastic heel cup is anatomically shaped and adapts optimally to each foot. It is hypoallergenic and designed to relieve heel pain.

The areas of the ViscoSpot heel cup are:

• The white zone: flexible for targeted pressure relief at the nerve center
• The blue zone: slightly firmer to unload the base of the plantar fascia and the inflamed structure of the fascia and tendons
• PowerWave: the wave-shaped contour ensures a gradual transition between the different zones
• The gray zone: rigid to provide the necessary support to the rearfoot when walking
