The Beaphar Canishield Medicated Collar is designed to provide long-lasting protection against fleas, ticks and sandflies in small to medium dogs. Containing deltamethrin, this collar provides persistent insecticidal action against fleas for 16 weeks, acaricidal action against ticks for 6 months and repellent action against sandflies for 5.5 months.

Indications and Contraindications

This collar is indicated against ticks, fleas and sandflies. However, it should not be used in puppies less than 7 weeks old, dogs with skin lesions, or in cases of hypersensitivity to deltamethrin or any of the excipients. It is also important to note that deltamethrin is toxic to cats.
