Betadine Scrub 4% is a powerful antiseptic based on povidone-iodine, indicated for additional local treatment and cleaning of skin and mucous membrane conditions, infected or at risk of infection.

Tips for use

Skin use: wash hands hygienically with 4 ml of pure product, rub for 1 minute and rinse carefully with water.

Precautions for use

Avoid drips and maceration between the patient and the table sheet. Prolonged contact with the undried solution may cause irritation and rarely severe skin reactions such as burns.

Ingredients

The active substance is povidone-iodine. The other ingredients are: 60% solution of ammonium salt of alkylphenoxypolyethylene ethane sulfuric ester, ethanol denatured with methanol, purified water, bis (hydroxyethyl) lauramide, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Contraindications: Never use Betadine Scrub 4%, solution for skin application, in premature babies and newborns, in case of breastfeeding, in combination with antiseptics derived from mercury, in case of history of allergy to one of the constituents.
