Biseptine Solution For Local Application Antiseptic Bottle 100ml

Biseptine is an antiseptic solution for local application, intended for the antisepsis of shallow surgical and traumatic wounds, as well as for the local adjunctive treatment of skin conditions that are infected or at risk of infection.

Properties

• Pharmacotherapeutic class: antiseptics and disinfectants
• Indications: antisepsis of wounds, additional local treatment of skin conditions, antisepsis of the skin before operation
• Contraindications: allergy to the active substance, use in the eyes or ears, on the genital mucous membranes, for the disinfection of medical-surgical equipment

Ingredients

• Purified water
• Active ingredients:
  • Chlorhexidine gluconate: 0.250g per 100ml
  • Benzalkonium chloride: 0.025g per 100ml
  • Benzyl alcohol: 4,000ml per 100ml

Tips for use

Apply 1 to 2 times a day to damaged skin, or 2 successive applications to prepare healthy skin before surgery.

Precautions for use

• Allow to dry before using an electrical instrument
• Do not use on a large area, under an occlusive dressing, or on deeply burned skin
• Use with caution in newborns

Adverse effects

• Allergic eczema upon contact with the product
• General allergic accident
• Chemical burns in newborns
