Cetavlon cream is a low-activity antiseptic, used for the local adjunctive treatment of skin conditions that are infected or at risk of infection. Containing cetrimide as an active ingredient, it is recommended for cleaning and protecting wounds.

Indications: Local adjunctive treatment of skin conditions that are infected or at risk of infection.

Contraindications: Do not use on the eye, mucous membranes, in case of allergy to the components, or in children with a history of convulsions.

Active ingredients: Cetrimide (0.500 g per 100 g of cream).

Advice for use: Clean the wound, dry, then apply the cream 1 to 2 times a day, avoiding any direct contact of the tip of the tube with the wound.

Precautions for use: Do not use on a large surface, under an occlusive dressing, or on burned skin. Avoid the simultaneous use of different antiseptics.

Possible adverse effects: Local allergic reactions, skin erosions, loss of rectal tone when used on the rectal mucosa.
