Composition and mode of action

Coloplast Biatain Super consists of a superabsorbent hydrocapillary wafer, a semi-permeable upper film, a hydrocolloid component for adhesion and a non-adhesive wound contact layer. Superabsorbent particles absorb and retain large amounts of exudate, while fibers distribute exudate to maximize absorption.

Indications and advice for use

Coloplast Biatain Super is indicated for heavily exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic foot ulcers, second degree burns, surgical wounds and dermabrasions. It is suitable for use under compression therapy.
