Élerté Antarene Ibuprofen Pain And Fever 40 Film-Coated Tablets 100mg

This medicine contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug: ibuprofen. It is indicated for the short-term treatment of fever and/or pain such as headache, flu-like illness, dental pain, body aches and painful periods, as well as for chronic juvenile arthritis.

Properties

• Active substance: ibuprofen (100 mg per film-coated tablet)
• Excipients: corn starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, pregelatinized starch, stearic acid, Opadry blanc oyl 28900 (titanium dioxide, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000) and carnauba wax

Tips for use

Swallow the tablet, without chewing it, with a large glass of water. The tablets are preferably taken during a meal.

The usual dosage is 20 to 30 mg/kg/day in 3 doses per day for children weighing 20 kg to 30 kg (i.e. approximately 6 to 11-12 years). The duration of use is limited to 3 days in case of fever and 5 days in case of pain.

Precautions for use

Before using this medication, consult your doctor if you have a history of asthma, bleeding disorders, taking anticoagulant therapy, digestive history, heart, liver or kidney disease.

This medication is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age, pregnant women beyond 5 months of pregnancy, people with a history of allergy or asthma triggered by taking this medication or a related medication.
