EfferalganMed 500mg Paracetamol – Pain and Fever

The medicine EfferalganMed 500mg Paracetamol is used to treat pain and fever. It contains paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic which helps to calm pain and reduce fever.

Instructions

This medication is indicated for pain and fever such as headaches, flu-like illness, dental pain, body aches and painful periods.

Tips for use

Swallow the tablets as they are with a drink. The recommended daily dose of paracetamol depends on the child’s weight. For adults and children over 50kg, the usual dosage is 1 or 2 tablets of 500mg per dose, to be repeated if necessary after at least 4 hours.

Precautions for use

The total dose of paracetamol should not exceed 3g per day. Do not take a double dose to make up for the single dose you forgot to take. This medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

This medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Use the minimum dose that will reduce your pain and/or fever, for as short a time as possible and as infrequently as possible.
