The Epitact ligament ankle brace is designed to provide optimal support and stabilization of the ankle, particularly in the event of sprains or edema. Its 3D elastic knitting guarantees perfect consideration of the volume of the foot and exerts homogeneous compression on the joint, thus improving proprioception.
This innovative medical device is equipped with patented strapping which stabilizes the ankle without exerting pressure on the Achilles tendon, thus allowing comfortable mobility. The removable strapping allows you to adjust the tightness according to your specific needs, such as edema.
Designed anatomically, this ligament ankle support has a closed heel and specific knitting at the ends to avoid any tourniquet effect. The micro-ventilated mesh promotes the evacuation of sweat, increasing comfort while wearing.
The indications for this ligament ankle brace include mild and moderate sprains of the external lateral ligament, return to activity after a moderate or severe sprain, as well as the treatment of post-operative edema. However, it should not be used in cases of diabetes, polyneuropathy, neuropathy of the lower limbs or arteritis.
Composed of 82.9% textiles (polyamide, elastane, polyester) and 17.1% silicone, this regulated health product bears the CE marking and has been assessed for its conformity by Asqual.
