Epitact Wrist Immobilization Splint Size S 1 Piece

The Epitact Immobilization Splint is a medical device designed to provide optimal comfort and rigorous stabilization for injured or bruised wrists. This splint opens widely to facilitate the passage of the hand and has dorsal and palmar reinforcements to place the wrist in an optimal position.

The 2 symmetrical hook-and-loop fasteners allow the conformable reinforcement to be centered under the palm and the removable strap guarantees anatomical tightening at the wrist. The reinforcement located on the back of the hand has a recess which prevents any pressure on the prominent wrist bone (styloid).

This splint is made of 54% textile (polyamide, elastane, polyester), 45% metal (aluminum, steel) and 1% polyethylene. It is recommended in cases of wrist trauma (acute phase) such as sprains and bruises, and can also be used for prevention (intermittent wear in the event of traumatic after-effects).
