Europgenerics Kendix 5% Aciclovir Cream Tube 2g – Treatment of viral infections

Kendix 5% cream is an antiviral medication used for the treatment of viral infections, including cold sores caused by chickenpox or herpes simplex virus. It is formulated to relieve symptoms and accelerate healing.

Contraindications

Never take Kendix 5% Cream if:- You are allergic to acycluguanosine, valaciclovir, or any of the other ingredients.- You have a severe immune deficiency (eg, AIDS, bone marrow transplant).- Do not apply to mucous membranes (mouth, eyes, vagina).

Ingredients

The active substance is Acycloguanosine (50mg/g). Other ingredients include macrogol stearate, dimethicone, cetyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, petroleum jelly, propylene glycol (E1520) and purified water.

Tips for use

Apply the cream to infected lips 5 times a day, approximately every 4 hours, avoiding nighttime application. Apply at the first sign of infection and continue treatment for 5 days, extending for another 5 days if necessary.

Precautions for use

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. In case of overdose or misuse, contact your doctor. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children and do not use after the expiry date.

Side effects

Uncommon: burning sensations, tingling, dryness, itching. Rare: skin reactions such as erythema, contact dermatitis. Very rare: severe immediate allergic reactions. If you have any side effects, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
