Folavit 0.4 is a food supplement which contains 400 μg of folic acid per tablet. It is essential for women who are pregnant or wishing to conceive, as it contributes to the growth of maternal tissues and the normal formation of blood.

Folic acid plays a key role in the process of cell division and contributes to the normal formation of the central nervous system. It is also important for normal psychological functions, such as concentration, learning, memory and resistance to stress.

Our tablets are composed of folic acid, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica and vitamin C. Each tablet contains 400μg of folic acid, or 200% of the recommended daily intake.

Advice for use: 1 tablet per day with water, at meal time. We recommend that women who wish to conceive take 400 μg of folic acid per day at least one month before conception and up to three months after conception.

Precautions for use: Do not use as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the dose of 1 tablet per day. Keep out of reach of children.
