This enteral nutrition solution by tube is hypercaloric (1.5 kcal/ml) and hyperprotein (20% AET), with a MCT content of 57% and without fiber.

This product is suitable for patients with increased protein and energy needs and/or requiring fluid restriction. Fresubin HP Energy Easybag is also gluten-free and clinically lactose-free, to minimize the risk of food intolerance.

Indications and Contraindications

This product is indicated to cover the nutritional needs in the case of enteral tube feeding of malnourished patients or at risk of malnutrition with increased protein and energy needs and/or requiring fluid restriction. However, it is not suitable for children under 3 years old and patients with galactosemia.

Tips for Use

The recommended dosage for total enteral nutrition is ≥ 1500 ml (2250 kcal) per day. It is important to use this product with caution in children under 6 years of age.
