Frontline Combo Line Fleas, Flea Eggs And Ticks Dog M 10-20kg Pipettes 3

This veterinary medicinal product is an acaricide and insecticide solution for topical use. It kills fleas within 24 hours, ticks and lice within 48 hours of exposure.

Properties

• Contains in combination an adulticidal active ingredient, fipronil, and an ovicidal and larvicidal active ingredient, (S)-methoprene.
• Fipronil is an acaricidal insecticide belonging to the phenylpyrazole family.
• (S)-Methoprene is an insect growth regulator (IGR) of the juvenile hormone analogue class.

Instructions

• Target species: dogs (weighing 10 to 20 kg live weight)
• For use against infestations by fleas alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks and/or biting lice
• For the treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.)
• For the prevention of the multiplication of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs (ovicidal activity) and larvae and pupae (larvicidal activity) from eggs laid by adult fleas for 8 weeks after application

Contraindications

• In the absence of available data, do not treat puppies less than 8 weeks old.
• Do not use in sick (example: systemic diseases, fever) or convalescent animals.

Tips for use

• Dosage and route of administration: One 1.34 ml pipette (M) for a dog weighing 10 to 20 kg.
• Method of administration: Hold the pipette upright, tap the narrow part of the pipette, break the tip with a sharp movement towards the back of the pipette.

Precautions for use

• Special precautions for use in animals: Do not overdose, avoid contact with the animal’s eyes.
• Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the medicinal product to animals: This veterinary medicinal product may cause irritation of the mucous membranes, skin and eyes.
