Properties

• Contains in combination an adulticidal active ingredient, fipronil, and an ovicidal and larvicidal active ingredient, (S)-methoprene.
• Fipronil is an acaricidal insecticide which acts by interaction with the complexes formed between chlorine channels and their ligands.
• (S)-Methoprene is an insect growth regulator that inhibits the development of immature forms of insects.

Instructions

• Use against infestations by fleas alone or mixed infestations by fleas and ticks and/or biting lice.
• for the treatment of infestations by fleas, ticks and biting lice.
• for the prevention of the multiplication of fleas by inhibiting the development of eggs and larvae and pupae.

Tips for use

Dosage and route of administration: one 1.34 ml pipette (M) for a dog weighing 10 to 20 kg, i.e. the minimum recommended dose of 6.7 mg of fipronil and 6 mg of (S)-methoprene per kg of body weight, applied to the skin.

Method of administration: hold the pipette upright, tap the narrow part of the pipette to ensure that its contents remain in the wide part of the pipette, break the tip with a sharp movement towards the back of the pipette, spread the hairs at the level of the animal’s back, at the base of the neck between the shoulder blades, until the skin is visible, place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the pipette several times in order to completely empty its contents onto the skin at one point.

Precautions for use

• Do not overdose.
• Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes.
• It is important to ensure that the veterinary medicinal product is applied to an area where the animal cannot lick itself and to ensure that animals do not lick each other.
