Hartmann Sterile Hydrosorb Gel is a transparent, viscous gel used for moist wound treatment. It softens dried and necrotic tissues, facilitating their debridement and absorbing debris and exudate from poorly exuding wounds.

The properties of this gel include:

• Balanced electrolyte composition for an ideal humid environment
• Softens dried out and necrotic tissues
• Absorbs debris and exudate from lightly exuding wounds
• Removes without irritating the wound with a sterile rinsing solution

This gel is available in a syringe with a reverse graduation to measure and document exactly the volume of the wound and the quantity of gel still available. It is sterile and individually packaged for safe and hygienic use.

Indications: moist treatment of deep, weakly exuding wounds, such as leg ulcers, decubitus sores and burns up to second degree.

Advice for use: apply a 5 mm layer of gel to the wound and cover with a suitable secondary dressing.
