Hartmann Medicomp compresses are sterile non-active devices, composed of 67% to 70% viscose and polyester fibers. They are free of binding agents and optical brighteners, flexible and breathable. Available in four folds, these compresses can be unfolded for use in larger formats.

Usage

Hartmann Medicomp compresses are used for general wound care and during surgical procedures. They can be used as:

• Primary dressing for skin lesion
• Initial cleaning of the wound and cleaning of intact skin and skin lesion
• Support material for externals, e.g. disinfection, ointments
• Secondary dressing for acute wounds and chronic wounds
• Mechanical barrier and for the absorption of body fluids
• Padding between toes and fingers to provide protection against mechanical damage
