Imodium Lingual 2mg is an anti-diarrheal indicated in the short-term treatment of transient acute diarrhea in adults and children aged 15 and over. It helps slow down intestinal transit, thus providing rapid and effective relief.

Tips for use

Let the oral lyophilisate melt on the tongue to obtain a rapid effect or drink immediately after complete dissolution in a small amount of water. Start with 2 lyophilisates in a single dose (i.e. 4 mg of loperam hydrochloride). If diarrhea continues, after each unformed stool, take 1 additional lyophilisate, but never exceed 6 lyophilisates per day and never exceed 2 days of treatment.

Precautions and Contraindications

Rehydrate with plenty of drinks and eat enough during diarrhea. Do not take a double dose to make up for a dose you forgot to take. Contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity, children under 15 years of age, acute dysentery, acute outbreaks of ulcerative colitis, bacterial enterocolitis, pseudomembranous colitis, and phenylketonuria.
