Lansoÿl Raspberry is an oral gel with liquid paraffin intended to treat occasional constipation in adults and children. Liquid paraffin works by lubricating the contents of the colon and softening stools to facilitate expulsion.

Properties and Indications

Liquid paraffin is used for its mechanical action in the treatment of occasional constipation. It is suitable for adults and children.

Contraindications

It is not recommended to use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in case of unexplained abdominal pain, allergy to the active substance or any of the other ingredients, swallowing difficulties, fructose intolerance, glucose and galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase/isomaltase deficiency.

Ingredients and Directions for Use

The gel contains liquid paraffin, sucrose, citric acid monohydrate, gelatin, cochineal red A (E 124), an aromatic composition and purified water. The dosage is one tablespoon, to be repeated if necessary 1 to 3 times per 24 hours, without exceeding the maximum dosage of 3 tablespoons per 24 hours.

Precautions for Use and Duration of Treatment

It is recommended to store the medicine at a temperature not exceeding 25°C, to keep it out of the reach of children and not to exceed the duration of use of 15 days.
