Advice for use and precautions

Before applying the bandage, the wound must be cleaned/debrided and covered with a dressing appropriate to the condition of the wound. The patient should ask the doctor to show them the correct curling technique. It is recommended to apply the bandage in the morning before getting up or after a prolonged period of elevated leg/arm position.

The width of the strip must correspond to the diameter of the limb to be treated. To obtain maximum movement of the joint, it is recommended to place the bandage on a foot positioned at a right angle (90°). The band must be stretched so that the pressure exerted decreases from the foot towards the knee and, if necessary, towards the intergluteal crease.
