Maxilase is a medication indicated for mild sore throats without fever. It is composed of alpha-amylase, an enzyme that helps break down carbohydrates and relieve sore throat symptoms.

Properties and Indications

• Oral use for adults, children and infants
• Indicated for mild sore throats without fever

Contraindications

• During pregnancy and breastfeeding
• If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients
• in patients with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase-isomaltase deficiency

• Sucrose solution
• Sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219)
• Sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217)
• Citric acid monohydrate
• Orange yellow S (E110)
• Glycerol
• Soluble tangerine essential oil S 164
• Drinking water

Tips for Use

• Adult: 1 tablespoon (15 ml), 3 times a day
• Child over 3 years old: 2 teaspoons (10 ml), 3 times a day
• Infant and child from 6 months to 3 years: 1 teaspoon (5 ml), 3 times a day

• Do not use this medication for prolonged periods without medical advice
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist or fever develops
• This medicine contains an azo coloring agent (E110) and may cause allergic reactions
