Medihoney Antibacterial Medical Honey is a standardized antibacterial honey, mainly based on Leptospermum sp., selected for its unique properties of cleaning wounds and protecting against bacteria.

Instructions

Used for wounds such as: tunnelled or cavitary wounds, sinus tracts, infected, necrotic and deep; anfractuous (sinuous) wounds; surgical wounds and engraftment area.

Also recommended for superficial burns, bedsores, leg and foot ulcers, as well as for first aid in general.

Tips for use

1. Protect wound edges with Medihoney Protective Cream.
2. Apply directly to the bottom of the wound, avoiding direct contact between the wound and the tip of the tube.
3. Cover with a suitable sterile non-adhesive pad or compress.

Precautions for use

Use with caution and close monitoring on wounds with high exudation. Use of the product in body cavities is not recommended.
