Mepilex Border Ag is an all-in-one silver-based hydrocellular dressing that provides rapid and long-lasting antimicrobial action to reduce the microbial load in the wound. It is designed for moderately to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds, such as foot and leg ulcers, pressure sores, tumor wounds, second-degree burns, traumatic and surgical wounds.

This dressing can inactivate wound pathogens (bacteria and fungi) within 3 hours and forms an antimicrobial barrier protecting wounds at high risk of infection or re-infection. It benefits from a silicone coating on the entire surface of the dressing using Safetac technology, allowing atraumatic removal for the wound and the peri-wound skin and painless for the patient.

Instructions

Mepilex Border Ag is indicated for the treatment of moderately to highly exuding wounds, such as foot and leg ulcers, pressure sores, tumor wounds, second degree burns, traumatic and surgical wounds, where a moist healing environment, exudate management, gentle fixation and antimicrobial action are required.

Tips for use

Discover in pictures how to easily apply our all-in-one Mepilex Border Ag dressing. Before applying the dressing, start by cleaning the wound. And make sure that the dressing covers the wound bed, extending at least 2cm over the surrounding skin.
