Mepitel is a soft two-sided interface dressing with Safetac technology, allowing removal that is atraumatic for the wound and painless for the patient. It is ideal for the treatment of a wide range of exudative and non-exudative wounds.

Properties and Advantages

• Tissue-friendly two-sided silicone interface for less pain for your patients during dressing changes
• Safetac also protects new tissue and intact skin to promote undisturbed healing
• The perforations allow the exudate to progress towards an absorbent secondary dressing

Indications and Use

Mepitel is indicated for the treatment of a wide range of exuding wounds such as skin tears, skin abrasions, sutured wounds, second degree burns, lacerations, partial and full thickness grafts, diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers. It can also be used as a protective layer on non-exuding wounds, blisters and exposed fragile tissues.
