Metopimazine Viatris Conseil 7.5mg Sugar Free 8 Orodispersible Tablets

This medication is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of nausea and vomiting not accompanied by fever, in adults and children over 6 years of age.

Instructions

Contraindications

• Allergy to metopimazine or any of the other ingredients
• Glaucoma (an eye condition characterized by increased pressure in the eye)
• Difficulty urinating, of prostate origin

Ingredients

• Active substance: Metopimazine 7.5 mg for one orodispersible tablet
• Other ingredients: glycerol dibehenate, colloidal anhydrous silica, mint flavor, aspartame (E951), crospovidone type A, microcrystalline cellulose, mannitol (E451), magnesium stearate

Tips for use

This medication is administered orally. Adults: The maximum recommended dose is 30 mg/day, i.e. a daily dose of a maximum of 4 lyophilisates divided into 4 doses per day. Children over 6 years old: The maximum recommended dose is 15 mg/day, i.e. a daily dose of a maximum of 2 lyophilisates divided into 2 doses per day.

Precautions for use

• Do not combine with other medicines containing metopimazine
• In elderly people or in cases of serious liver or kidney diseases, the appearance of drowsiness or dizziness may indicate an overdose
