Levonorgestrel Mylan 1.5mg Tablet: Oral emergency contraception
Levonorgestrel Mylan is an oral emergency contraception intended to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or in the event of contraceptive method failure. It is recommended to take it as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex.

Contraindications
- Allergy to levonorgestrel or any of the other ingredients
- Before the first menstrual bleeding (puberty)
- Concomitant use of medicines containing ulipristal acetate
Ingredients
- Lactose monohydrate
- Corn starch
- Polyvinylpyrolidone
- Colloidal anhydrous silica
- Magnesium stearate
- Levonorgestrel (1.5 mg for one tablet)
Tips for use
Take the tablet with a glass of water, preferably within 12 hours and no later than 72 hours after unprotected sex. Do not delay taking the tablet, as it is more effective if you take it as soon as possible.
Precautions for use
- Do not replace a regular method of contraception
- Does not interrupt an ongoing pregnancy
- Does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases
Warnings and precautions
- Concomitant use of certain medications may prevent Levonorgestrel Mylan from working effectively
- Contains lactose monohydrate, if you have an intolerance to certain sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicine
Adverse effects
- Very common: dizziness, headache, nausea, abdominal pain, feeling of breast tension, late periods, heavy periods, bleeding, uterine pain, fatigue
- Common: diarrhea, vomiting, painful periods
