7 tips for good use:

• Start your treatment with the lowest effective dose: 500 mg.
• Never exceed 1 g (1000 mg) per dose.
• After one dose, wait at least 4 to 6 hours before taking another dose.
• When self-medicating, never exceed 3 g (3000 mg) per day and do not exceed 5 days of treatment.
• If your condition does not improve, never increase the doses or reduce the time between doses.
• If you are taking other medicines for fever, pain or cold and/or flu symptoms, always check if they contain paracetamol, to avoid exceeding the limit of 3 g per day.
• Avoid any alcohol consumption during treatment.

Properties:

Pharmacotherapeutic class: other analgesics and antipyretics – anilides

This medication is an analgesic (relieves pain) and an antipyretic (reduces fever). The active substance of this medicine is paracetamol.

Instructions:

• Used to treat pain and/or fever, for example in cases of headache, flu, dental pain, body aches, painful periods
• In osteoarthritis pain
• Reserved for adults and children from 27 kg (i.e. from approximately 8 years old)

Contraindications:

Never take Paracetamol Mylan 500 mg, tablet:

• If you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients contained in this medicine.
• If you have serious liver disease.

Ingredients:

• L-hydroxypropylcellulose, povidone, talc, colloidal silica, magnesium stearate
• Active ingredients: For one tablet: paracetamol 500 mg

Tips for use:

The recommended daily dose of paracetamol depends on the child’s weight: it is approximately 60 mg/kg per day, divided into 4 or 6 doses, or approximately 15 mg/kg every 6 hours or 10 mg/kg every 4 hours.

Oral use – The tablets should be swallowed as they are with a drink (for example: water, milk, fruit juice).

Special warnings:

If the pain persists for more than 5 days or the fever for more than 3 days, or in the event of insufficient effectiveness or the occurrence of any other sign, do not continue treatment without consulting your doctor.

Taking paracetamol can cause liver problems.

Precautions for use:

For children weighing less than 27 kg, there are other presentations of paracetamol.

Adverse effects:

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Rarely, an allergic reaction may occur: pimples and/or redness on the skin, hives, sudden swelling of the face and neck which can cause difficulty breathing (angioedema), sudden discomfort with a significant drop in blood pressure (anaphylactic shock).
