Nestlé Health Science Peptamen Junior Smartflex 500ml

Peptamen Junior is a complete enteral nutrition, isocaloric (1.0 kcal/ml), based on hydrolyzed whey proteins (15 g/500 ml) and 60% of total lipids in the form of MCT, for children from 1 year of age.

This is a food for special medical purposes, gluten-free, UHT sterilized, packaged in a protective atmosphere and manufactured in Germany.

Instructions

• Undernutrition or risk of undernutrition in patients with impaired digestive function and/or malabsorption syndrome
• May be the only source of nutrition
• Suitable from the age of 1 year
• Exclusive enteral use

Contraindications

• Not suitable for those with allergies to cow’s milk proteins
• Never mix medicines or other foods with the product
• Do not administer intravenously (I.V.)

Tips for use

Recommended dosage: 500-2000 ml per day to be adapted to the child’s needs according to medical recommendations.

To ensure a constant flow rate, the use of a nutrition pump is recommended.

Precautions for use

• Use under medical supervision
• Shake well before use
• Unopened, store in a cool, dry place
• After trocarding, administer within 24 hours
• After opening, close again, store in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours
