Nestlé Health Science Peptamen HN Smartflex 500ml

Peptamen HN is a complete, high-calorie and high-protein enteral nutrition, based on hydrolyzed whey proteins and 70% of total lipids in the form of MCT. It is specifically designed to meet the nutritional needs of patients with impaired digestive function and/or malabsorption syndrome.

Instructions

For nutritional needs in cases of malnutrition or risk of malnutrition in patients with impaired digestive function and/or malabsorption syndrome.

Contraindications

Not suitable for those with allergies to cow’s milk proteins. Never mix medications or other foods with the product.

Ingredients

Water, maltodextrin, hydrolyzed whey (milk) protein, medium chain triglycerides, soybean oil, minerals, emulsifiers, vitamins, choline chloride, stabilizers, L-carnitine, taurine.

Tips for use

1500 – 2000 ml per day for an exclusive diet. ≥ 500 ml per day for a partial diet, to be adapted according to medical recommendations.

Precautions for use

Use under medical supervision. May be the only source of nutrition. Intended for adult patients. Exclusive enteral use. To ensure a constant flow, the use of a nutrition pump is recommended.
