Nutricia PKU Anamix Infant milk is a phenylalanine-free powdered food, specially designed for infants with proven phenylketonuria (PKU), from 0 to 12 months. It is also recommended as a supplement in children up to 3 years old.

Instructions

PKU Anamix infant is indicated for the dietary treatment of proven phenylketonuria in infants and children up to 3 years of age.

Ingredients

Dried glucose syrup, refined vegetable oils, fiber (galacto-oligosaccharides, fructo-oligosaccharides), L-arginine L-aspartate, L-leucine, lactose, L-lysine acetate, glucose, L-tyrosine, etc.

Tips for use

A serving (15 g) of PKU Anamix infant provides 2 g of protein equivalent. The daily dose should be determined by the doctor or dietician and depends on the patient’s age, weight and medical condition.

Precautions for use

Cannot be used as a sole food source, but must be administered in combination with another protein source to meet phenylalanine requirements. To be used under medical supervision.
