A diet specially designed for dogs suffering from gastrointestinal problems, such as gastritis, colitis, anorexia, acute and chronic diarrhea, maldigestion, malabsorption and convalescence.

This diet is rich in fermentable fiber, such as beet pulp and FOS, which provide a source of nutrients for intestinal flora, essential for colon health and motility. Prebiotics stimulate local intestinal immunity and have a neutralizing effect on pathogenic bacteria.

Advice for use: Recommended daily quantity according to the dog’s weight. The regeneration of intestinal villi requires a minimum prescription of three weeks during nutritional therapy for acute conditions. Chronic illnesses may require a lifetime prescription.

Precautions for use: Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal Moderate Calorie Dry Dog is not recommended in cases of hyperlipidemia, lymphangiectasia, hepatic encephalosis, pancreatitis or any disease requiring a low-fat diet.
