Our Sejoy rapid test kit is designed for the qualitative in vitro detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigens in human anterior nasal swabs. It is ideal for rapid investigation of suspected cases of COVID-19 and as a reconfirmation method for nucleic acid detection in people discharged from hospital.

Tips for use

It is essential to follow the instructions to obtain accurate results.

1. Preparation: Wash your hands and place the test cassette and test components at room temperature for 15 to 30 minutes.
2. Collection of the sample: Gently insert the swab into a nostril to a depth of 2 to 4 cm and rub the swab slowly with rotating movements.
3. Sample processing: Insert the swab into the extraction tube and immerse the entire swab tip in the extraction reagent.

Test procedure

Pour 2 drops of the treated sample into the sample well of the cassette and smooth out the test result 10 minutes after pouring the sample.

Interpretations of results

• Negative result: No line appears in the test zone (T).
• Positive result: Two lines appear, a colored line in the control area (C) and another colored line in the test area (T).

Precautions for use

Tests for children and adolescents must be used in the presence of an adult. Avoid using bloody samples. Used tests should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
