StrepsilSpray Lido Mouthwash is a medicine used to relieve sore throats, canker sores and small mouth sores in adults and children over 12 years old. This spray contains a local anesthetic (lido hydrochloride) and two local antiseptics (amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol).

Tips for use

Reserved for adults and children over 12 years old. Use 2 sprays in the mouth and/or throat, 1 to 6 times per day, depending on age. Do not use before meals or drinks. The processing time is limited to 5 days.

Precautions for use

The use of this medication may cause aspiration when swallowing food. It is therefore imperative not to use it before meals or drinking drinks. Prolonged use may alter the natural microbial balance of the mouth and throat.

Ingredients and dosage

The active substances are amylmetacresol, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and lido. The dosage varies depending on age: 2 sprays, 1 to 4 times per day for children aged 12 to 15 years, and 2 sprays, 1 to 6 times per day for adults and children over 15 years old.

Warnings and contraindications

This medicine contains alcohol and should be used with caution in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children and high-risk groups. It is not recommended for use in alcoholics and patients with fructose intolerance.
