This medication provides iron, recommended for iron deficiency anemia and to prevent this deficiency during pregnancy. It is indicated for adults, children over 6 years old, and pregnant women.

Properties:

• Iron intake to treat and prevent iron deficiency anemia
• Suitable for adults, children over 6 years old, and pregnant women
• Prevention of iron deficiency during pregnancy

Ingredients:

• Maltodextrin
• Microcrystalline cellulose
• Triethyl citrate
• Talc
• Ammoniomethacrylate copolymer type A (eudragit RL 30D) and type B (eudragit RS 30D)
• Glycerol dibehenate

Directions for use:

• Oral route
• Swallow the tablets whole with water
• Usual dose: 80 mg per day for children aged 6 to 10 years, 80 to 160 mg per day for children aged 10 years and over and adults

Precautions for use:

• To be taken with a glass of water preferably before meals or during meals, depending on digestive tolerance
• Do not suck, chew or keep the tablets in the mouth
• Swallow the tablets whole with water

Side effects:

• Constipation, diarrhea, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, abnormal color of stools, nausea
• Swelling of the throat, abnormal stools, discomfort and pain in the upper abdomen, vomiting, acute inflammation of the stomach
