Properties and Indications
- CONTAINS A NON-STEROID ANTI-INFLAMMATION: IBUPROFEN
- SHORT-TERM TREATMENT OF FEVER AND/OR PAIN
- Indicated in adults and children weighing more than 20 kg (approximately 6 years)
- HEADACHES, INFLUENZA, DENTAL PAIN, ACHES AND PAINFUL PERIOD
Contraindications
NEVER TAKE IBUPROFEN VIATRIS 200 MG:
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- beyond 5 completed months of pregnancy (24 weeks of amenorrhea)
- in case of history of allergy or asthma triggered by taking this medication
- in case of ulcer or bleeding from the stomach or intestine in progress or recurrence
- in children under 6 years old because they may swallow incorrectly and choke
Ingredients
THE ACTIVE SUBSTANCE IS IBUPROFEN 200.0 MG FOR ONE COATED TABLET
OTHER COMPONENTS ARE CORN STARCH, PREGELATINIZED STARCH, ANHYDROUS COLLOIDAL SILICA, STEARIC ACID
Tips for Use
- SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN FROM 20 KG (APPROXIMATELY 6 YEARS)
- IN CHILDREN, THE USUAL DOSAGE IS 20 TO 30 MG/KG/DAY IN 3 TAKES PER DAY
- IN ADULTS AND CHILDREN OVER 30 KG (APPROXIMATELY 11-12 YEARS): 1 TO 2 TABLETS (200 MG), TO BE REPLACED IF NEEDED AFTER 6 HOURS
Never exceed the recommended doses or the duration of treatment (3 days in case of fever, 5 days in case of pain). The maximum dosage is 6 tablets per day (1200 mg).
Precautions for Use
AT HIGH DOSE, GREATER THAN 1200 MG/DAY, THIS MEDICATION HAS ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PROPERTIES
ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS/ANALGESICS LIKE IBUPROFEN MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH A SLIGHTLY INCREASED RISK OF HEART ATTACK OR STROKE
