Viatris Purified Flavonoids Fraction 500mg is a medication specially designed to relieve the symptoms of chronic venous disease and acute hemorrhoidal disease. Each film-coated tablet contains 500 mg of micronized flavonoids, composed of 450 mg of diosmin and 50 mg of other flavonoids expressed as hesperidin.

Dosage and Method of Administration

The recommended dose for adults is 2 tablets per day for chronic venous disease and 6 tablets per day for the first 4 days for acute hemorrhoidal disease. It is recommended to take this medication with meals.

Adverse Effects

Reported adverse reactions include diarrhea, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, headache, malaise, dizziness, rash, itching, hives, abdominal pain and swelling.
