Virbac Effitix is ​​a product for the treatment and prevention of infestations by fleas and ticks in dogs. It is also effective against sandflies and mosquitoes. This product is specifically designed for large dogs weighing 20 to 40 kg.

Properties

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients. Do not use in rabbits or cats as adverse reactions, sometimes lethal, may occur.

Tips for use

The minimum recommended dose is 6.7 mg of fipronil per kg of body weight and 60 mg of permethrin per kg of body weight. Apply the product in 2 to 4 points along the back between the shoulders and the base of the tail.

Precautions for use

Animals must be weighed accurately before treatment. Avoid any contact of the contents of the pipette with the eyes or mouth of treated dogs. This product is extremely toxic to cats and can be lethal.
