Tips for use

AlphaTrak 3 test strips are used with the AlphaTrak 3 meter to monitor blood glucose levels in dogs and cats. The patented AlphaTrak technology allows the test to be carried out from a tiny sample of blood: 0.3 μl is enough.

• Choose a sampling area (marginal ear vein, pad, calluses on paws, inner lip)
• Wash your hands and clean the collection site with warm water and soap
• Prepare the lancing device and prick
• Perform the blood glucose test
• Press lightly on the sample area to stop bleeding
