Zyrtecset 10mg is a medicine used in the treatment of allergies, particularly for the nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as for the treatment of the symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Instructions

• Treatment of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis
• Treatment of symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria

Contraindications

• Children under 6 years old
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding, except on medical advice
• Severe kidney disease (severe kidney failure)
• Allergy to cetirizine dihydrochloride or any of the other ingredients

Dosage

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 10 mg once a day
• Children 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily
• Renal insufficiency: recommended dose of 5 mg once daily

Precautions for use

• Driving and using machines
• Kidney failure
• Problems urinating
• Epilepsy or risk of seizures
• Interaction with alcohol
