Acticoat Flex 3 is a dressing made from a flexible layer of low-adherence polyester, covered with silver nanocrystals, providing an effective antimicrobial barrier against microbial contamination. It is ideal for deep or non-deep wounds, such as burns, graft recipient sites, pressure sores, venous ulcers and diabetic ulcers.

Contraindications

• Known sensitivity to silver
• Patients requiring MRI (magnetic resonance imaging)

Tips for use

Remove the Acticoat Flex 3 dressing from its packaging while respecting hygiene rules. If the wound is dry or barely exuding, moisten the dressing with drinking water. Remove excess water before application. Cut the dressing if necessary to adapt it to an anatomical shape. Apply the dressing without stretching, on the surface of the wound, taking care not to form a fold.
