The Advantix product is an external antiparasitic for local application containing imidacloprid and permethrin. This combination acts as an insecticide, acaricide and repellent, providing complete protection against fleas, ticks, sandflies and mosquitoes.

Properties

• Imidacloprid: insecticide effective against adult and larval stages of fleas
• Permethrin: type I pyrethroid, acaricide and insecticide, which also acts as a repellent
• Association of the two substances for a repellent and acaricidal action on ticks, sandflies and mosquitoes

Instructions

• Prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalides felis)
• Treatment of infestations by biting lice (Trichodectes canis)
• Reduction of transmission of canine vector-borne diseases (such as Borreliosis, Rickettsiosis, Ehrlichiosis and Leishmaniasis)

Contraindications

• Puppies less than 7 weeks old or weighing less than 4 kg
• Hypersensitivity to active substances or to any of the excipients
• Cats (the product is extremely toxic in cats and can be fatal)

Tips for use

• Apply 1 pipette of 1 ml per dog, containing 100 mg of imidacloprid and 500 mg of permethrin
• Treat all dogs in the household to reduce re-infestation by the emergence of new fleas
• Avoid contact of the solution with the eyes or mouth of treated dogs
