Instructions
Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is indicated for the management of acute and chronic wounds, such as skin tears, surgical wounds, first and second degree burns, graft donor sites, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, infected wounds and malignant wounds.
User Mode
- Choose an appropriately sized dressing
- Prepare and clean the surrounding skin by removing excess moisture
- Remove the protective film and attach the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin
- Smooth the dressing over the wound, removing the rest of the protective film
Change and Withdrawal Frequency
Dressings can be left in place for up to 7 days depending on the volume of exudate and local protocols in force. To remove the dressing, lift one of the corners and gently pull it until it is completely removed from the wound.
Employer Precautions
Allevyn Gentle Border Lite is a single-use product. Do not use dressings in conjunction with oxidizing agents such as sodium hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide. Discontinue use if redness or sensitization appears.
