Allevyn Life Sacrum is a silicone gel adhesive dressing designed to provide an optimal moist environment to promote healing in moderately to heavily exuding wounds. It is ideal for chronic and acute wounds, such as pressure sores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, etc.

Instructions

This dressing is indicated for chronic and acute wounds, such as bedsores, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, 1st and 2nd degree burns, etc. It can also be used to prevent pressure sores on intact skin as part of a pressure sore prevention protocol.

Tips for use

Select the appropriate dressing size, clean the application site, ensure that the surrounding skin is clean and dry, and follow the indicated application steps. The dressing may be repositioned and should be changed depending on the condition of the wound and surrounding skin.

Precautions for use

Do not cut the absorbent pad, do not immerse the dressing in water, and do not use with oxidizing agents. If redness or sensitization occurs, stop use.
