This medication is an analgesic (relieves pain) and an antipyretic (reduces fever). The active substance is paracetamol. It is used to treat pain and/or fever, for example in cases of headache, flu, dental pain, body aches, painful periods.

Properties and Indications

• Reserved for adults and children from 27 kg (i.e. from approximately 8 years old)

Tips for use

The dosage depends on the weight of the child. In adults, the usual dosage is 1 or 2 capsules of 500 mg per dose, to be repeated if necessary after at least 4 hours. It is generally not necessary to exceed 3 g of paracetamol per day.

Precautions for use

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you have liver disease, kidney disease, or if you frequently drink alcohol. Consumption of alcoholic beverages during treatment is not recommended.

Contraindications

Never take this medicine if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients, if you have serious liver disease, or if you are using other medicines containing paracetamol.

Do not take a double dose to make up for a dose you forgot to take. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the package.
