Biocanina Milbetel Dewormer Cat Plus 2kg Film-Coated Tablets

Milbetel is a dewormer for cats over 2kg, used to treat mixed infestations with immature and adult cestodes (flatworms) and adult nematodes (roundworms). It is also used for the prevention of heartworm disease.

Properties

• Milbemycin oxime belongs to the group of macrocyclic lactones, produced by the fermentation of Streptomyces hygroscopicus var. aureolacrimosus.
• Praziquantel is an acetylated pyrazino-isoquinoline derivative, active against cestodes and trematodes.

Instructions

• Treatment of mixed infestations with cestodes and adult nematodes in cats weighing more than 2kg.
• Prevention of heartworm disease.

Tips for use

• Oral route, administration during or after a meal.
• Minimum recommended dose: 2 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per kg body weight.

Precautions for use

• Do not use in cats weighing less than 2kg or in case of hypersensitivity to active substances or any of the excipients.
• It is recommended to treat all animals living in the same household at the same time.

Packaging and conservation

• 2 film-coated tablets
• Keep the blister in the outer packaging.
• Shelf life after first opening: 6 months
